Our class has just taken part in a sponsored walk. We walked through the woods and fields to a village about 2 miles away called Bolton. We measure in metres and learn about kilometres at school, but all our roads signs in Scotland tell us distances in miles! The class enjoyed missing lessons to walk in the country. We raised money to buy some new equipment for our classroom. We don't know how much money we have yet. The children are still bringing in the money they have collected. Do you take part in sponsored events and raise money for the school or for a charity?
