Scottish Opera

Scottish Opera is helping P6 & 7 do a play this term. We are doing it with St. Mary's (another primary school). It's called "The Sands of Time" and involves lots of singing. We did a Scottish Opera play in P6 so we know what it's like. We will perform it in front of our parents and we have to wear really weird costumes! There are three groups in the opera: the Egyptians, the explorers (that's us) and the Assyrians! The Scottish Opera people come and show us what to do, and they tell us the storyline and how to act. We always have a laugh while we are doing it because it's really funny! Some of the adults take part in the play and they are really funny to watch. We will perform to the Knox (the high school we go to in the summer) students later on in the term as well as our parents! It's going to be really embarrising because Human Nessie's big sister is going to be there! But we are kind of looking forward to it, arn't we?
