The winter in Tromsø, by Jan Ottar and Torbjørn

The winter in Tromsø is very cold.
The highest registered snow level in Tromsø is 2, 4 meters high, it was in 1997.
In the year 2000 there was almost 2 meters of snow.
It has been as cold as -22 degrees Celsius.
In the winter we can have snowball fights, or maybe dig snow caves in the big piles that gets made by all the busy snow plows cruising around.
We can go skating on the lakes. We can also go snowboarding and skiing.
Many people go to the mountain for skiing and snowboarding.
In Tromsø there's a popular alpine centre called Kroken ski centre.
